We understand that life can be challenging. Dealing with micro-aggresion, passing, code-switching and feeling the need to have to hide the natural beauty of your hair, just to be taken seriously at work or to attract or keep attention from a love interest. 

We understand that life can get busy and that you need highlights you can reap from and get on with your day. That you want to connect with others that ‘get you’ and sometimes need an outlet, but don’t often see yourself represented as glamorous. The Afro and it’s various curl patterns have long been put in the background, in favour of Western beauty standards. 

We want to walk with you and keep you motivated on this journey called life, because striving to reach your goals can take it’s toll on your mental health at times.

We’ve been in the fashion industry for 8 years from Africa to London and have the knowledge of what is coming down the line to help you look your best. 

We will keep showing examples of beautiful curls and coils, teenie weenie afros and bald head styles, to inspire you to show up and show the world your beauty.

We interview inspirational role models from various industries, to motivate you to perform at your best.
