Footballer Memphis Depay, acknowledges record breaking 51st Goal for Netherlands, making him their all-time men’s top goal scorer by launching 51 limited-edition Puma MD51 ULTRA football boots.
To mark the occasion, 51 boots were presented in a special case with a Certificate of Authenticity and given to a special selection of family, friends and professionals that helped him on his journey to success.
Many young boys would dream to represent their country and play the sport they love, but Memphis surpassed this goal by not only playing for his country but also becoming their top goal scorer.
“I was a young boy with big dreams; a cub became a lion on the biggest stage. The world has seen some of my journey but not all, the hard work, the dedication that people do not see is what helped me achieve something that will live with me forever,”

The left and right boots have unique icons, representing his Mother (Cora in flames), Ghanian heritage (Star symbol), his Football number 10 Shirt, Faith (Christ the Redeemer), Resilience (Lion tattoo) amongst others.
Unfortunately these boots are not for sale, but a lucky winner will be able to get a pair through a competition at @pumafootball.
Like the lion on his back and his MD51 trainers, Memphis is ready for the next win.
