Polo is a sport synonymous with status, wealth and elegance.
Played in Nigeria, since the early 20th Century, Lux Afrique Polo deliver this rich heritage to Hurtswood Polo Club in Surrey every summer. Celebrities Levi Roots and Melvin Odoom, were in attendance at the 2024 edition.
An annual call is made to designers, to design the team kits that the polo players wear. Guests are given the dress code of African Excellence and year upon year, they do not disappoint. This is the place to be if you want to see and be seen. To get your best outfits assembled, for a chance to win the ‘Best Dressed Competition’.
The 2024 winner of the Men’s Best Dressed competition was artist Recklezz Suprimo (below), who’s Street Fighter II Kaiden inspired outfit was hand-made at home in preparation for the event. The Creative Director of sports fashion brand AAA, awarded him his prize on stage accompanied by models wearing pieces from the AAA all black sports collection.
